    4) Anyone caught protesting today that is illegal will be shipped home, boarders will be beefed up w/ firing squads
    5) the word GOD is taken back out of the pledge and off our money
Just a few things I'm curious about...

    1. What would happen to our world image if we did that? Not to mention that Iraq would immediately be thrown back to the radicals and the lifes of all those lost would have been for nothing. Not very well thought out. While we shouldn't have gone in the first place, we should probably finish what we started.
    2. I agree to some degree, but the problem isn't a domestic problem. It lies in the rising demand for oil from uprising economies in places like China.
    3. Agree here too.
    4. Ship the illegals and beef up the borders. Fire squads may be a bit much tho.
    5. Why? Not a fan of what our country was founded on?

Nothing flamatory here, I was just curious as to your justification. Here's my list of "Things To Do"

    1. Reinforce the Immigration Laws. Legalize or Leave. It's that simple.

    2. Attempt to cut government spending as to eleviate the national debt. We really need to get out of the red.

    3. Reconstitute the death penalty and revise that which would constitute it's use. Take a life, lose a life.

    4. Ban abortion specific to a case-by-case study. Only accessible to situations of rape, incest, or similar cases. Think your mature enough to play the game? Take the responsibility.

    5. Revise our Foreign Policy as to keep from playing "World Police" all the time. We have enough problems ourself without dealing with the rest of the world.

    1) we shouldn't of ever gotten involved to begin with, cut losses and leave the middle east, next country to fuck w/ us gets nuked... screw 200+billion dollar ventures in the sand
    2) thats bullshit exuses used by the oil companys to feed the greed, the oil industry is making billions b/c they have a monopoly; a gov't owned project to restablize the oil industry here would shake things up and allow for lower gas prices, the 4 largest oil companys are US/Brittish owned and their $$$ lines the pockets of many in DC
    3) good.
    4) firing squads are cheaper than having to comb the deserts and to keep relocating boarder jumpers, eventually it will catch on an nearly cease to exsist
    5) the country was founded on FREEDOM OF RELIGION this doesn't mean Christianity; which is what some like to believe, also GOD was added to the pledge in the 1950s

    1. Do I think we're doing a good job in Iraq? No, but I do feel that we need to finish this one out and then rethink how we'll act in future endeavors.

    2. It may sound like a BS excuse, but it is the truth whether or not it benefits the oil companies. I would like to see a government program put into place as to regulate the oil prices and turn away from the speculative market that it currently sits on.

    4. Perhaps it'd be cheaper, but it's not exactly humane so you'd be seeing a lot of opposition to it. Much like a ironfist dictatorship, it would be focused primarily on fear. That usually doesn't sit to well with people. Citizen or foreigner.

    5. Perhaps it is freedom of religion, but the foundation of nearly everything this country was built on had a basis on the Christian moral standards. I fail to see how having "God" in our pledge and on the currency is offensive to people. I'm not Christian or even religious, but to have people bitch about something this trivial is retarded.

Meh, I guess I'm about done. I'd rather not have this explode into a debate between us and others. Different viewpoints for different people. There will always be opposition.

How does having the word "God" on your money force you to become a christian? Does it really ruin your life that much? I demand that US currency also be available with spanish text; same thing as what you are saying.
