September 28, 1919, Omaha, Nebraska. fucked up enough, this photograph was sold nationwide as a postcard in retail stores for years.....Cardmounted gelatin printingout paper. 6 1/4 x 8", during the time when blk people were openly hung, lynched and like him, burned alive. i own a book that chronicles the lynchings that happened in the south during the last century, and trust me, to say that that didnt affect blk people, your a delusional mofo. but no. i have to look up that book it's somewhere in my stack of books. i'll pull the title so you can look it up.

one of my older uncles who's now dead, told me of the time he witnessed a childhood friend of his castrated for drinking water out of a creek that ran through the property adjascent to the land my grandfather worked on as a sharecropper(see:slave) in arkansas before my dad was born.
at the time, my uncle said he was about 6-7 and they were playing in the field, got thirsty and decided to drink, a little girl seen them drinking from the creek that bordered her fathers property, ran and told her dad, who was with friends, and they chased the other kid cause he didnt hide after the girl ran to tell. my uncle, had hid in the grasses said he watched while they hit the boy, finally snatching his shorts down and cutting off his penis. my uncle said he watched his friend bleed to death, he was too scared to move, and the men were still standing nearby.
