I do not scare easily when I am in my Spec V. (250whp does not sound like much, but I put more cars in my rear-view than you'd think... full weight at that. But for a car that orginally dynos circa 153 wheel, I think I do aiight). But in the same breath I do not exactly go balls to the wall on 10th Street downtown either. There are still things you can do to kinda "get the point across" on who the king is w/out full out racing in the middle of midtown. I'd like for this guy to contact me though **smiling**, I do have some questions for him.

Ur gonna have to call BS on what? That my Spec is 250wheel N/A?? I never said I could take him... I said I wanted to "play". I do not mind losing... NE1 who does shouldn't be a racer. The MAIN question I had is what BOV and how much boost b/c I heard it over my audio. He could not really get in it like he wanted to b/c it had started raining (this was Monday morning about 8am), and also it was downtown. If I got the chance to play with I would... I'd think something was seriously wrong if he didn't embarass me.

I do not mind the whole world knowing... it was $$ well spent , although I would never do it again. --> www.seriouscustoms.com/sunbeltprogress

Actually I got 240wheel at the initial build, and then when I moved to Colorado Springs PFI Speed dialed in another 11wheel HP on a very agressive tune. And this was at Denver altitude on the MOTEC. The MOTEC runs better there than here, and I have yet to find a MOTEC tuner here in ATL so I do nto drive the Spec V too often.. most people have seen me either in my EG or my EF. ACTUALLY if I was gonna run the IS my EG would be my choice... but that is not the purpose of this thread.

Hmmm... I have been racing long enuff to know that that IS pulled pretty hard for 2nd gear... my EF would have been outclassed. I know my shit true, but I also know which one of cars to choose to give me a better edge... I'd choose the EG if I had to race that car. We are coming from 2 diff worlds though... I graduated from boosted cars to N/A (and yes in my mind it's a graduation, not a step down). This is gonna kick off a fierce debate, which I do not mind. But when I say N/A please understand what I mean. NOT bolt-ons... there is a difference than a N/A motor and some1 who is full bolted. Pound for pound a potent turbo setup will outperform a high revving all-motor setup. But I think as far as knowledge goes, going through 3 diff cams for 4 whp is where I live these days. There are 12 second "recipes" for a certain WHP on B series' motors (boosted)... it has all been done. But when you do a REAL N/A motor there is a lot of trial and error, that's where I live. However, I do plan on boosting the EF at some point.

    baby J.

the only boosted red IS300 i have seen in GA is the only red boosted IS in ga, makes over 450rwhp/450rwtq on pump gas/low boost. has GTE bottom end. he never shared high boost/race gas #'s. saw it move.. it makes the power

a se-r sentra with 250whp N/A . sounds like a VQ swap. bet the car is a sleeper

but regardless. that guy is faster than you.

may be he's ignoring you dude. I'd if you tried to play with my G35C too, not that I think low of your car, but because I don't do street race. Especially if I have a nice car like the boosted IS300.

NE1 who'd swap a VQ into a SEr would simply buy a 350Z. That's a bit overkill just to gain "sleeper" status. My motor is still the QR25DE... see the link above for the initial build. I could believe that his setup was 300+ wheel, so maybe this was the guy. BOV was RIDICULOUSLY loud... I'd bet he was NOT crying wolf... I'm almost sure that the bite was worse than the bark. No1 said that I was faster... simply stated, win lose or draw I wanted to play a bit. End of discussion. And also as stated, I do not scare easily. We run, I lose, I post the vid for the world to see how bad I got owned, I go home, have the best sex of my life go to sleep, wake up the next day, eat Cheerios, scratch my balls, watch the vid again and say "DAYUM i got killed", go to work and try again another day w/ an easier target. Doubt he igged me... we were never in each others "zone" for him to see me. Not to mention we were downtown (10th street) w/ wet roads at 8am traffic. But he did pull away (HARD) from the other cars around him, and that's when I heard the sonic boom BOV (single stage... turbo XS RFL maybe?). Plenty of cars ignore a 4 door 180hp (as advertised) SER. Had he had the chance to see me launch from a light like he did, I am sure it'd invoke a lil more attention than he gives the average Spec V. But just the same, I ignore IS300s even in my slowest car (EF) b/c I outclass them as well. It's all relative. I own "bolt-on" G35s as well, so I ignore most of them in all of my cars. But I am sure that the "just another civic" mentality runs deep on our streets... there are plenty of ricers that have made this a reality. I assure you that my EG is not just another civic though sir. I do not win them all, I simply say that I make ya earn it... that's all we can do.

Oh no, I have no doubt that your SER can whoop my G35C given that sucker is heavy as fawk, even with all the bolts in, I doubt that I can get it over 270whp . I was simply saying that I'd ignore any street race because I don't want to risk my life and other people's. I know that your car is a sleeper. I've lost to countless cars that I've never thought I'd loose to. Heck, I even loose to my own H22-Accord on the bottle. hahahaha.

To answer B16 Civic's question, I don't have Tony's old car but I'm planning to make mine about as close or relevant soon.

I haven't saw many people doing that swap on the SER/Spec V boards (b15.net and the V board). If NE1 is swapping, they are doing the sr20 out the Sentra SE (USDM) or the Bluebird (JDM). Also the PTI turbo is pretty popular right now --> that's getting the guys around 230 wheel. I KILL those guys at the track and on the street though... BIG time, not even close. What side of town you on? We can "take a ride" in my Spec... I will show you (using the AFC) what just a 5% increase in throttle postion feels like on a 250whp N/A beast... at uhhh, we'll say 80mph... or 100mph. And then we can get my boy's classic SEr (boosted jdm sr20, 20psi) and see what a turbo car does at 10% throttle increase at the MPH of your choice!! I think you would guess DEAD wrong on what your ass-dyno would suspect as the best bang. Simply stated, I have waxed a LOT of turbo cars... and if the fun wasn't limited to 7800rpms (PISTON SPEED IS THE BIGGEST PROB WITH THE QR25... IT'S INSANE... MAKES FOR TONS-O-TORQUE THOUGH AND A NICE BROAD POWER BAND). By the way, the stock QR25 kills the fun at 6200RPMS... do not let that fool you though, high 14.80s are capable bone stock, not fast NEmore, but def respectable when you are only gonna dyno 153wheel if that (it's all torque in the QR25DE... typical Nissan stuff). Do I have the grunt for a 450WHP IS300 (in the Spec V)... doubt it. Will he earn it though, you bet. I think even he would be surprised... simply b/c it's a Spec V if for no other reason. I can def tell he's fast... and even that was/is an understatement b/c he backed out of it before he even started having fun. I like your "losing" comment... it's not exactly FUN, but it keeps you hungry... and keeps you humble. If ya won 'em all you'd get bored real quick... well maybe not REAL quick, but eventually. LOL.

well its a little different for me, when i run. i dont care about losing or winning.. just running the car is special enough for me. thats why i even enjoy losing. yeah i guess it does leave me "hungry". but i've always been the underdog.. and i like hearing compliments. i've surprised a Few with the 350z (friendly runs) and have embarrased a few shit talkers in the STi.

where do you stay anyway, id like to see the sentra, i had no idea you could get that much power out of the QR25.

as far as its stock runs, yeah i know.. i was around the RSX-S/celica GT-S/SE-R rivalry.. good ole days. i own a 01 GT-S as well (my beater lol)

I've lost to countless cars that I've never thought I'd loose to. Heck, I even loose to my own H22-Accord on the bottle. hahahaha.

To answer B16 Civic's question, I don't have Tony's old car but I'm planning to make mine about as close or relevant soon.
I can DEFINITELY appreciate that comment. You know what, since I have a daughter now I definitley have toned it down BIG TIME as far as straight up impromptu street races in traffic. I can't imagine some1 saying "Yeah Kayli, your dad was FAST... WHOOO that boy had some dangerous cars... too bad that Borden milk truck OWNED him on North Ave when he blew by the Varsity at 120 mph... poor milk never had a chance!!" LOL. If some1 wants to prove a point and organize will I run... just me and them... uhhhh... welllllllllll.... yeah. But it is a dangerous game in traffic. How often do you get the chance to see, much less have ur a$s handed to you by a boosted IS300 though? LOL. It would be such an honor to lose to such a ride. LMAO!! Maybe then Kayli would understand:

KAYLI: **sniff** the NERVE of him to be so stupid!! I HATE him I HATE him I HATE him!!! Bastard!!!!
POLICE: If it's any cosulation sweetie, before he smacked that milk truck he was within' a fender of that red IS300 and closing... it would have been a close one.
KAYLI: **stops wimpering** **wipes tears** well... oh!! At least he was representing!! THAT'S MY POPS!!! I LOVE HIM!!!

    LMAO!!!!

where do you stay anyway, id like to see the sentra, i had no idea you could get that much power out of the QR25.

as far as its stock runs, yeah i know.. i was around the RSX-S/celica GT-S/SE-R rivalry.. good ole days. i own a 01 GT-S as well (my beater lol)
True that. Just rep the ride(s) that you have and you have my respect, win lose or draw. And I just like pushing mine to their limits. Well, if you read the specs on my build you will know that it was WAY more pricey than the Powertech turbo that the guys are getting... that turbo kit is netting 220 - 240 wheel, at $3900. Let's just say that including the work that PFI Speed did w/ the MOTEC and ignition expander, I am sitting @ a few duckies less than 9k into the QR25DE, and I let Jim @ Sunbelt keep my orig QR25. So THAT is what I meant when I say I would not do it again. I literally can NOT sell the car --> (www.seriouscustoms.com/garage) w/out taking a HUGE hit unless the buyer is just driven on the timeslips and likes watching his gas hand in constant motion. WHP being the same and the only difference being boost vs N/A, the N/A motor will own... but the POTENTIAL for max HP will go to the boosted motor (pump gas). 12:5:1 is gonna be JUST about your limits on pump... so w/ repsect to heat/reliability, you will surpass the N/A motor w/ a boosted setup in short time. I am well aware of this, but I am on an N/A binge these days, as I have owned a few boosted rides in the past. I live in Clayton County... you can PM me and we can meet and play a bit of you want. My boy Harry w/ the classic SER (non IA member) can come along. I am free on weekends.

PS: your beater is a damn good ride to boost too... I have seen the kits they have for it on the forums. Plus 8900 RPM fuel cut is a lotta fun.
