In my opinion, a 12 sec car is car more impressive than the amount of effort it takes to shave 2 seconds off of an already slow car. I don't take into account what a car runs stock when its modified unless I wanna do comparisons.

There are A LOT lot LOT more cars that run around 16 ETs stock that are now running 12's or 11's than there are Evos that run 12's or 11's.

Also, you can't blame Evo owners for being more enthusiastic and willing to modify their cars for power... hence why there's so many 11sec~12sec Evos.

No it's not. It's much MUCH harder to go from 13 to 12 than it is from 17 to 15 seconds. People can run 17s all day long and pull a good 60' and boom - run a 15.5. Getting a 12 takes a lot more if you were running 13s before. The faster you get the harder it is to squeeze time off your E.T. Wait 'till you get into the 12s, Paul, you'll find out, heehe. You can build 2-3 civics to what the evo cost, yeah - because parts are cheap as hell, who cares? If you like civics, build a civic. If you like evos, build an evo. If you wanna spend 30k on a car and get a 10-12 year old car, get a supra or an RX7.

yeah i gave up trying to find one.....I was ready to sell the 2 and everything but couldnt find a black or red 6 spd, the closest one i found was in texas and the guy wouldnt go down 19k so i didnt take it.......
