    Ive got a purse with me usually on a Saturday night when I venture to Bulldogs downtown. Just depends on if it goes with my outfit. I think its kinda cute when guys arent afraid to carry one.

    it's gay. if you have to carry so much that you can't fit it in your pockets, or carry by itself, then take a backpack.... purses are for ladies, and fanny packs are for nobody. and as for the "rich" vote.... no.. if a guy is "rich" or a business man, he's going to be carrying a briefcase.. not a gucci purse.

    Alright man, sorry to say this, but that LV one looks gay as hell, at least to ME. I think the whole gayness thing has to be done on a case by case basis, but overall, if it looks like a normal rectangular messenger bag, it's fine, but if it looks like a little square, or an upright rectangle, then it looks like a purse...

    Just my opinion tho...I'm not of the stylish kind...

    I guess, I just see normal messenger bags as more of a horizontal rectangle....

    I'll show you what I would call a messenger bag as opposed to the one you're talking about...I think the issue is that the bags went from being used by students and bike messengers (hence the name), to just being a generic term given to male over the shoulder bags... I don't know...
