COLUMBUS -- A man was shot to death while driving on Interstate 185, and police have charged the driver of another vehicle in the killing.
Police Lieutenant Steve Cox said 33-year-old Oscar T. Agbor died while being taken by ambulance to The Medical Center in Columbus.
Cox said 42-year-old Edmund Eno is charged with murder, aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during a crime.
According to Cox, Agbor was northbound on the interstate near Columbus State University in a sports utility vehicle with Eno's wife as a passenger.
Cox said Eno spotted them shortly before 7 p.m., pulled alongside and fired several shots. Agbor was struck at least four times. Eno's wife, Rachel Eno, was not injured, nor is she charged. Cox attributed the shooting to jealousy.
Cox said Agbor and the Enos are from Africa originally. The Enos live in Columbus and Agbor has an Austell address.
The shooting caused traffic on the interstate to back up for miles with only one lane open on the northbound side.
