So much of what we see in magazines and from companies in their marketing is driven by money and what they can gain. Header tests in magazines are done as advertisements for the companies that pay big $$$ to advertise in those magazines. You actually think that they would say something negative about a paying advertiser? The last time I checked Mainstream Performance is not compensated by any company that they test a header from. A++++ to Mainstream and Vteckidd for not just perpetuating internet rumors and heresay and actually basing an opinion on facts and empirical evidence that can be proven on the dyno.
    Great points...I'm not even in the market for a header (I have a $1,000 SMS sitting at home) and don't need another one yet I still want to do this...!

    My car see's 8+k RPM's everyday...it's no big deal and i don't see it as a risk at all... Sucks because header installation can be a pain sometimes with the compressor still on, i don't have an O2 bung, and really need to tune my V-AFC and smooth out the fuel curve a little.
