How and where do I even start with this one? Well I guess it can start with a nice fuck you to Morris and everyone else that is behind what happened to my fucking car. Wasted over 8000 for a build and tune and got my fucking GSR back unfinished and missing my hondata. These sacks of shit took every last dime i had, knew that car was the only thing i worked to call my prized possession. Karma is a bitch and she'll be seeing you real soon.

Morris was pretty well respected around here, ran Midnight Auto up in woodstock. He had a pretty great rep from up north too.

First of all, Ive been on this site for years and I worked at tons of shops and ran tons of local shops. You OP was very vague.
I believe i heard that Stretch and Morris did have a falling out (just rumors I have heard) so I dont know how this affects this situation. However, Stretch from what I know is a pretty nice guy, seems really grounded and Morris, while he was a hot head, Ive never seen anyone claim he was a thief or scammer.
Sounds like you went from blaming Morris to now Blaming stretch which leads me to the conclusion that you have NO IDEA who or what screwed you over.
I suggest you subpoena them both, bank records and all, and take them to court. It costs $85 to file. Sounds like they split up, and someone isnt telling the truth.

yeah Morris from Midnight, it all started when I originally needed a tune. that went well, a few months latter had rings that went bad and decided to do a whole new turbo set up and full rebuild. it was drug out for over a year with bullshit like you need this, oh we forgot that, other customers are in front of you. So Stretch did the best he could with what money Morris hadnt already pissed away now this is also going off of what strech and a few other people have told me but apparently he decided to start using ecu's off of mine and a few other guys cars to help his boys out with their shit. Im really not looking for any sympathy or smartass opinions even though this site is full of those, the only thing behind this callout is letting that sack of shit know that Ill be seeing his ass at the next event or shop I catch wind of him being at around here. I know where i went wrong and can accept the fact that i should have never went with a shop that wasnt fully established yet, but all that aside the question I do have is what legal actions i can take towards a shop that is closed and a dude that runs to florida or new york when shit finally catches up to him. what really put me over the top is when I came to get the car from a storage building nothing was said towards me about how they were planning on doing anything to pay me back for the work that wasnt done and the parts that werent finished and to top it all of i was told if i ended up parting it out stretch wants dibs on the shell. really? you give me my car back in pieces and have the nerve to tell me you still got money to pay for my shell? Its made me hate the car i loved to death, and caused problems in my life with ones i really cared about. i just want these dudes to know that not only did they fuck me out of everything i have but they also took my piece of mind and destroyed my relationship, job, and home.

Deposits are a common occurrence when it comes to projects like what OP sounds like he went for. We don't start a project where I work without a deposit. Then again, we've never pushed an unfinished project out the door.
So the truth finally comes out. Morris has een trying to reach me the whole time and stretch wanted to keep that from happening so that he could continue to blame it all on morris, and finish his fucking race car with my god damn money. to all that know stretch let that mother fucker know that when i get done with him he's gonna wish he never met me. i guess there is always 2 sides to every story, and i was wrong to go off of what one man said to me. scratch that. this is the prime example of a bitch not a man.

trust me the bay was no jewel when midnight got it. The car did start and run and drive though. Needed rings/rebuild. i drove this car onto the tow truck via its own power. the after pics do not show that there are no axels installed or shift link hooked up. the only parts missing that i am sure of is S300 and probably some heres and theres little shit like clamps ,hoses .bolts. also payed for dyne tune that well obviously couldn't happen....bla bla bla. the intercooler is mocked up with 2 bolts , wire harness and axels are in trunk. relief cuts in bumper for piping look like shit IMO... there are lots MORE scratches and scuffs in paint then before!!! WAS not perfect to start but .....???? and yes work was paid for before completed because your stupid if you think you can drop off a car and say do 5k-6k of work and ill be back to pay you after you use all your money to buy parts.... gimme the # to the shop that will do that for me!!! and the car was not GIVEN back like this..... we had to pick it up on a dolly from a storage building, not a shop we dropped it off at with a Dyno in the floor. stretch is very down to earth and easy to deal with i will say. i will also say this has become very unprofessional and out of hand.

You should holler at stretch this whole midnite situation is all messed up. Stretch is very reachable, i think u should get in contact with him if you have not already.
