Dont get anything like an evo or 350z in reality. You will kill yourself. I'm probably around your age and have gotten myself into near wreck/death situations in my WRX from being really stupid. My buddy who's going to UTI spun out on the interstate yesterday in his Z doing about 110... Tell yourself your responsible all you want but when a chance arises you'll make dumb decisions. I say get something that is a good platform for modification and build the car up yourself. That way when someone asks about it you'll know whats done to it and you won't talk about having 7 1/2" pistons. I like the GTI idea because its AWD but I dont know shit about VWs. imo thats a pretty safe way to go. Look into Subarus too. AWD and skilled driving have saved me a few times.
