The application of intelligence can undermine intelligence it'self.

Well posting mobo jumbo on a car forum doesn't determine one's intelligence either. Calling out people for simple grammar mistakes ect..doesn't determine intelligence especially if they are using a phone. I like to say most of my intelligence is based off common sense due to my life style. Having to grow up quick does that to you. Book smarts is cool to have (if you want to know pointless information) but common sense is better over all.

What is the explanation for an intelligent person with common sense having a criminal record and working construction? "Book smarts" proves you're capable of learning. Any employer who isn't handing you a shovel would tell you that. Even if you go through school without learning a single thing you can actually apply to your life, you separated yourself from every other person who wasn't willing to do that. Intelligent people understand this concept.
