Actually it would. Unfortunately the rb weighs to much throwing off the weight distribution. If a 20b was to run a rb on open circuit track it would dominate. Drag strip not so much.

For instance, 13xxwhp Starlet, tubbed, built 9", 4k stall, powerglide, fresh slicks, suspension professionally tuned on a drag strip with a newb driver > 14xxwhp MK4, getrag 6 speed on radials with a seasoned driver. 250whp cars leave it up to the drivers, 13xxwhp is the setup, driver, track condition, etc.
