Same here. Everyone that comes through the shop is a total piece, even if it's new or taken care of.

yeah, but its a group mentality......... driving a honda means you drive a honda.... even though you drive a CRV, you're still part of the family of cars who produced the s2000 and NSX. i feel that's where the term "flagship" car comes from. Even the kicker for the New England Patriots is still a New England Patriot. Sure he's not as cool as Tom Brady.

No car maker is exciting from top to bottom. Most of em make 1-2 cool cars and then a fleet of econo boxes.

Fair, I'll agree with you there.

To the point of the thread I love my toyota engine, it gets dogged on daily at 8500 and takes it like a champ.

Eh the new scion ft86 is bringing some excitement back. All the automotive magazines i get are raving about it. Lexus has a few decent looking/running cars including the lfa pictured earlier. So do i wish toyota was more sporty as a whole? Sure.

But my 400+hp supra is just fine for me thanks. And im sure will stomp the shit out of anything you (rhys) drive.

I read 2800 pounds and 200 horses at the crank... can't imagine that being fun. Lol.

I belive this is just a base model. Turbo versions are set to come out next year or the year after.

Yeah i wouldn't personally buy unless they did a turbo, and with the subaru motor, it'd be an injustice if they didn't. Just read a comparo though where it beat the genesis and miata. Even beat the miata around the track.

As a toyota enthusiast im just glad they finally did something "sporty". None the less, my next car will most likely be the new mustang.

You just won with new Mustang. The new 5.0 is supposed to be the bee's knees.

Supposedly the new BOSS are pretty quick or "king of the Street", but then it comes down to marketing again.

Would like to see the 5.0 vs GTR

I had a camry a long time ago and it was great. They are perfect cars for people who don't car about modifying cars.

How did we go from a thread about an "86" to a GTR vs Mustang???

But at the same time... Miata > "86" for all time, everyday, forever.

    Until the end of time.
