5th is OD, so you will have a 1:1 ration in 4th gear in either the 5 spd, 4 spd, or auto. At best, the R200 came with a 3.7:1 rear gear ratio. The 4 spd came with a 3.364:1. That would save you 1 second at most in the 1/4. So you drop from 18.4 to 17.4 - does it even matter when it is that slow?

Actually, I just found a 3.9 that was available for his 2+2 if it was made after 8/79. He might be able to gain about a 0.5 sec if it is that high. maybe 17 flat if lucky, and engine and tranny are fresh and not worn.

Still puts me right next to that pos neon and integra at full weight. And it takes me 5 minutes to drop those plate steel reinforced bumpers that weight 30+lbs each.

For some reason I doubt that. For the record the Integra guy and I aren't on sides, you're just the hated one in here.

    Doubt what?

That the bumpers weigh that much or that I can take them off in 5 mins? Ok maybe 10 mins if I have to do it with just a 12mm box end.

Actually, that Neon is about a 16.0 sec time. So about a second faster. The Integras usually are around 16.8-17.0, on those older models.

Real safe to be removing bumbers - some tracks like MMP and Commerce won't let you pass tech to run without them.

I know what the bumpers way, I'm saying either way my POS Neon will still beat you. It's not fast, but it's faster than that.

That really is all you have isn't it? LOL

I'm still waiting on you to post what you look like since you like to judge me. Even if I was fat and weighed 250lbs you still would be a lot heavier than I would be.

I've owned both a 1980 Datsun 210 SW (my first slammed vehicle, circa 1988) and a 1996 Dodge Neon (my 1999-2000 SCCA regional champ car) and have loved them both. Each car has it's good shit and each car has it's bad ones. Well, the Datsun didn't, but you know what I mean. Later, QD.

And where were your contingency stickers? They should be all over the car like Simons - after all, the wagon was running for Oakley, right.

That depends on several things - tires, his rear gear, condition of car, and most important, the driver.
You are both so slow that it would be pointless to race - as everyone would fall asleep by the time you got halfway down the track.

Shit I wish Dodge had contingency program like Mazda or Honda. The only stickers on my car now are paying sponsors or small contingencies for brake pads and what not. I left the top sponsorship decal the car was previously sponsored by the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America so I wanted to keep some of its history.

You want us to say you are faster based upon the words of those who have banged their heads when their SUV rolled over?

I wasn't - I was talking about the slow Integra in his sig. Same speed as a 280 - superslow.

Where did it go when it ran out?

The Liquor store?, Blockbuster?, or maybe it just went to grab a bite to eat.

How was it lowered, the regular zx front struts method and blocks in the rear?

When I get a mig Im going to go pull a set of front assemblies off of a 280zx or Maxima and try one of the cheap weld on ebay coilover kits... I still don't know what I'm going to do for the rear.

How close were you to hitting the tunnel at that height?

Knowing QD (well, the little that I do), it was either heated springs or just flat out removing the springs (nobody ever said pimpin' was good for your back).
