Sorry guys. That sucks. Jesus people are idiots. Insurance should cover everything. Regardless if he was drunk/high/influenced there's a police report that he was at fault I have to assume and that should cover everything on your STi, as per your friends VW it will take the right kind of insurance adjuster to get paid right on that. I suggest your buddy to get an estimate from a real shop, not macco. Perhaps someone who does VW restos?
