And if you really think about it, ever since we all have gotten our license we learned that pedestrians have the right away no matter what. So I dont even know why J walking is in exsistence. If there was someone to walk across a street with a cross walk 50 ft away and I hit them in my car they would still blame me the driver, not the person that got hit, even if I say hey theres a crosswalk there and they werent even close to it(J walking) they just stepped out in front of me and I didnt see them till it was to late, they would say its my fault and i would get charged. SO LIKE I said It defeats the purpose of a J walking violation.
