But perhaps Brooks can enlighten us as to what exactly is going on with the "suits upstairs" (moderators section/owners perspectives) when it comes to what the F has been going on; things have been changing around here. From a personal point of view, it seems to me that whoever it was that bought IA a little while back is attempting to realize this sites maximum profit. First it went from one advertisement per page to three. Now it's up to four (if you look at the bottom of the page) Pretty soon there will be advertisements right in the middle of threads, or at the beginning of each OP, followed by keyword hotlinks to popup advertisements that show up when you accidentally mouse over (HT does this), then there will be premium membership packages that you can pay for to avoid seeing 50% of the advertisements and then the lousy free types where you get the pleasure of viewing every single one. Shooting for profit is perfectly acceptable when it comes to a business (such as this one, IA) - however, start cracking down on members that have been active contributing members for over 5 years, and things will start to change over time. You can't do that with the attitude of "well, you'll get pissed, get over it and just come back anyways."
Import Lounge could see an increase in membership - just as Import Atlanta did when all the Import Lounge folks got pissed and left for IA (many years ago) - Shoot, Import Lounge STILL keeps a better updated front page that IA could dream of with things that are actually interesting to read...

This happened yesterday^^^^ Dont say it never happens. Its happened more then once.
He was later banned by QD foir speaking his mind like I just did. (same day), but was later reunited with his account again due to him knowing people(MODS) and saying he was banned for no reason.
3: Whiny No! Speaking my mind and having facts to back up my rant/statement is not whiny. Its more like you need to do what your intended to do. I believe most of you guys are close friends on the outside this site.
and not pointing fingers or calling people out but some MODS abuse there power and show favortism/being more harsh on people.
SO please by all means keep saying I dont know what Im talking about. Or you might want to go find these post that im copy and pasting and delete them so I dont have anymore evidence.

Why would we delete the posts so you wouldn't have "evidence"? We all know the server is sub-par. People leaving to go import lounge? doubt it. It does suck, but, advertisements are what keeps the site up, and if the new owner wants to advertise in the middle of thread, he has the right to do so.
No one is conspiring against IA or it's members, This shit is just expensive. No one has yet to ask you guys to pay a membership fee or upgrade your account to a "premium" status.
