Have you heard of the game Tokyo Extreme Racer? They had Scions before they were even heard of in america. I had it on dreamcast as a bootleg japanese game and I remember looking at the xB's (called something else) and saying WTF is this?! about 2 years later the Scion hits America

However, converting a car to RHD is the most useless, rice-tastic mod ever. It does nothing but make driving your car harder... I'm sure it's cool for the first three times you go through the Checkers drive-thru, but what's the point?
Actually there was one guy I met at the opening of Garage Zero, that green truck, he HAD to convert his because of the swap that he did, something was in the way of the steering column.

Good idea, I'm putting one on my ranger. You never know, you might get stuck in a ditch when your showing off your new front lip. But, also a good idea that you bought your lip from Home Depot cause you just fucked it up.

Honestly I'm cool with some of the "JDM" stuff ... Yes shockers are played out... There are certain cool drift charms that people rock but MOST are gay... H.I.D's that are above 6k I'm ok with... There are certain painted valve covers that are cool... cut springs are stupid.

What "JDM" cars have HD lips??? LOL You're clueless. I see eBay lips on them, usually the most who use Home Depot lips are club race cars, they're functional and cheap to replace.

Or going to tolls. lol. It def looked good and you had "JDM" parts, but the thread is about the car being "JDM".

I'd never convert a car to RHD but wouldn't mind purchasing one. Before I sold my mustang I found RHD kits over in Europe for the stang...lol that'd would have been hilarious to see....but a pain in the ass to do.

Wouldnt that technically be if the car was SOLD in japan? Since the US imports hundreds of thousands of cars made in Japan, that aren't actually sold in Japan, and therefore arent JDM because they never see the Japanese marketplace.

Everyone is doing it, so since everyone is doing it, and the import scene has become a bandwagon, they must hop on it before it goes out of style.

Like this stretch tire bullshit/hella flush/stance Era. I'll take any properly fitted rim/tire combo over any of those stretched tire cars. I'd love to see those pos's go around a track.

Yeah when the event registration opens go to atl-scca.org and there is a link to register, the site you register on is like motorsportreg.com or something I forget the exact link. From there it's entirely straight forward. What Mazda? lol

It's the common name for a lip made of garden edging or garage door lining. I've done it before, lots of race cars do, it's more of an air dam than a lip.

Custom fab IS the way to go. lol

I ran one on my Miata, I made a aluminum back for it so it was strong. It worked great and never broke, I had an 80+mph off once and it didn't even break. If I had a $$$ lip I bet it would of been smashed.

As long as you can deal with the ricer kids making fun of you it's great. Obviously SOME things should be left to the engineers but somethings it just takes a little imagination, time, and will to test/break stuff. lol
