In 91 my dad got that charge. He and his boss and a coworker were drunk riding home at night and the coworker hit somebody and killed them. They were so drunk that for some reason they switched seats and my dad became the one behind the wheel when they got pulled over. He got just under a year in prison.
Prob won't get to see it anytime soon. Atleast, I hope he doesn't. He's extremely good looking so I'm sure he'll be a top seller in the shower room of wherever he'll serve his sentence.
I agree with you. I thought at first (before reading the article) that the Celica launched to the bustop and knocked it down. I LOL'd until I started reading and realized that two people died, two very hardworking people at that. I feel bad for them both, especially for the 28 year old with the three young children, who don't understand the wonderful day together they had on her birthday was their last.
True. But maybe he was being a young dumb ass showoff in a car that obviously he didn't know how to drive & pwned him. Maybe he was thinking "Ohh, look I can get from 0-90 in 30 seconds in my brand new Celica." I'm curious as to the age & what type of car this other driver had. I'm also curious as to if the male that was at the bustop stated he was racing, or alone. I'm sure this wasn't the first time he raced/did some stupid shit like that.
These are the type of people that need to go to an isolated road in the middle of nowhere if they want to race. The public roadways aren't a place for that. I understand sometimes its fun, but it isn't smart nor safe. I mean we've all done it, but hopefully we've grown up & learned. I know I did.
