944 turbos do have their issues as many of the front engined P cars did and any Porsche is expensive to upkeep. Even a 914 cost money to keep running. I've never said EVERY Porsche is Gods gift. However Porsche knows what they're doing, they build quality cars, they build fast cars and they stay loyal to their customers.

maintenance, I could care less about reliablity, I clearly did not buy a honda so F*** reliability, I think of the poor gas mileage I will be getting while I haul ass in my German Sex Machine and fine leather interior.

Saying "fast as hail" obviously means it's a joke. If I were serious I'd say it's pretty quick. It did run a low 14 though.
As for the 240 with the KA motor, the SOHC KA is the best way to go for NA. It had quite a bit done to it and was fairly quick for a SOHC KA.
As for the blue EF, um yeah, it was a race car. In SCCA Improved Touring C you can't swap motors, you see in REAL RACING there are rules, if I were to be oh so bad ass JDM I would of swapped in a B16 and been stuck in a class with NO competition, I would of been lapped in under a lap. LOL

I feel the opposite, I don't think Porsche is that kind of brand. They're not cheap but they're not unaffordable. A Boxster S is far from a slouch and with little work any Porsche can become quite a terrorist around a race track.
