A lot of people enjoy Leno. It's been that way for awhile. Carson probably retired because he was ready to. Leno may not be ready to. And that's ok. Would you retire from a successful career if you still thought there was a lot left you could do and gain from it? No.

As for switching to another network...some hosts have loyalty to their network. And it's about the money too. If Leno is comfortable at NBC, then he should stay. I wouldn't wanna move somewhere else if I didn't have to.
I guess you don't care for honesty or integrity. Leno signed his retirement papers otherwise he could have backed out.

When you give your word an host a show for 17 years, then don't honor that agreement and do everything to ensure your successor fails yeah you're a douchebag.
