I don't know her or you but if you loved her then you'd be happy shes happy. Also, I dated a girl for 3 years and I've been broken up with her for 2 years almost now. I still try to keep her as a friend in my life and I still love her. Maybe she thinks that what you had is worth staying friends instead of throwing away all the time you two had?
