Not being insured or registered shouldn't matter. I mean if it doesn't run or is not legal to be on the road...whats the point in that?

They let him put it there yes....not like he just parked some shitty car wherever he wanted.

If its on their property, they should be responsible for the upkeep and it randomly falling or losing a branch means they were not doing what they should be. Im pretty sure its the same as if your neighbors tree fell on your house when it was not in the middle of a storm or something natural that cant be helped. We had a tree limb fall on our house from the neighbors yard once....they had to fix the house...was around like $15,000 worth of damage.
