You stated that "I WOULD" agree with Ruiner. Trust me. This(as is not everything ) has nothing to do with you. You act like you were her close and personal friend and that you knew everything about her.
You know what? This isn't even the time or place to discuss this. Later, QD.

This thread was meant to remember her not argue about how she passed away or offer your insight. Lets just remember her as a beautiful person who touched a lot of lives.

I am sorry wasnt trying to sound like a ass. Just makes me mad when young ppl get fame and they are hot and THEY usually turn to drugs. I never understood why ppl did hard core drugs thats all.
since i did alot of bumping i wanna make sure this stays on page 1
Hello. I am Christi's cousin. I am 45 days younger than her and she grew up in my house for a few years with my family. She was such a wonderful person, and selfless to a fault. I appreciate the sentimentality shown in this thread, it seems she left a lasting impression on most of you as she has to me. To clear things up I want to explain a few things about Christi. She had a pretty rough childhood and did not make the safest choices. But she went through her trials and overcame them. She was on a brilliant path. To those of you who were able to attend the funeral, you heard my grandfather tell how she recently wrote the family an email stating her goals. Nobody doubted her ambition and ability. She had plans to go to college as soon as the beginning of next year. No matter what you feel about the situation or Christi herself, the best way we can appreciate her affect on us is to learn from it, and love others the way I have no doubt she loved each of you. Do not judge, in any way, her or her circumstance. I have come from a family of addictions and bad choices and you find that at a certain point, you are not in control. Going out this way was not Christi's decision.
I have had a very rough time with the situation and continue to, still. I don't judge anybody in any situation, but do offer this: if you have an addiction, no matter what it may be, look to correct it. If you cannot for the sake of yourself, then do so for the sake of others. There are always alternatives, just educate yourself. Cocaine, for example, is replacable by caffeine (high amounts, but still). In Christi's case she did not overdose on cocaine, it was not cut with anything bad, and it was unlikely that it was mixed with GHB. The most likely case of the death, aside from the negligence of whoever she was with, was the cocaine was too pure--which means it was too potent and her body couldn't handle it. It can happen to anyone, no matter how many times you've done it before or gotten from your dealer before. If you need the stimulant, please look for an alternative.
Thank you for your love and memories and prayers.

I'm sorry for what you are going through. I didn't know Christi, but from what I have heard she was a wonderful girl. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and wishes. Good luck to you all. It is hard to overcome a lossOriginally Posted by Elrichthain

like her cousin said.. make sure that you are CLEAN! you never knwo whats gonna hapen with your body..
rest in peace christi..
i dotn wanna be rude either, but she was very pretty. sorry she's gone
I am with mike on wanting to know which caused it or if anything else was at play or fault. If able to be said that is. We respect the privacy of her family and knowledge of the tragedy, but very curious![]()
I think this is a very sad story. It really shows you that...."Tomorrow might never come".....Hope she left this world with peace.
She was an old close friend of mine. Me and her lost 2 close friends of ours when we where goin in to the 7th grade. We"ll all be together again someday. My condolences go out to the family and friends
RIP
That's not being rude, she was beautiful, as everyone knew. Taken from "http://alcoholism.about.com/cs/coke/f/coke_faq06.htm", "In rare instances, sudden death can occur on the first use of cocaine or unexpectedly thereafter. Cocaine-related deaths are often a result of cardiac arrest or seizures followed by respiratory arrest." ...Christi was a rare instance. She seized, most probably, immediately or shortly after insufflating, and it caused massive brain damage. Which, I might angrily add, could possibly have been remedied with immediate medical response.
If any questions we ask are too personal just let us know. Alot of questions have been asked and trying to clear up the nonsense that shouldnt of come about. Self-induced or were other parties involved in the situation, and charges of manslaughter if someone else is involved or is this case pretty much closed?
Damn, that's horrible, dude. Was this something that she did while at home that evening, or someone do this to her?
Also, thank you very much for your patience and answering questions. I would just like to see others learn from something. Not that I would wish for her or anyone else to be the teacher, but you get what I'm saying? Later, QD.
thnx. i just didnt wanna get yelled for caring about how she looked after she passed.Originally Posted by Elrichthain

The way I see it is that the more information that is known, the less people are to speculate and pass blame. Christi is innocent of her actions and nobody judges her, so I feel it is not too personal. I love her very much and I know she would want people to know the truth. The truth is that she has tried to get out of her situation many times and has successfully done so. As fawk_you stated earlier, she has been clean for quite a while, but that does not mean she was not prone to succumb to peer pressure or any other factor. Those who have had addictions or have been close to others who have know the impact that it has on your life, and once you've used a substance before it's easy to return to in difficult situations. It is not her, but the drug that took over.
That being said, the cocaine was most likely self-induced, but the death was the responsibility of another party. She was dropped off at her mom's house while seizing, and left for dead. There is an investigation going on to find who could have done that, but nothing significant has been found yet.
That will sum up alot of the information for people, thank you. And yes I know from a sibling that addictions are easier to pick back up, than to be clean. Its a very sad thing to know and We all hope the best and to know who did it.
I'm sorry for the questions, but I'm just wanting to understand. I've never been around a situation like this before, so i don't know how it goes. I don't want to sound mean, but again, curiousity kills me. Would she be able to be dropped off at home, while seizing, and be able to get inside and downstairs without anyone knowing this? I would assume(sorry) that if there was illegal activity going on, then the people that dropped her off would not want to walk her to the door and risk theirselves. Would she be able to walk all the way inside, downstairs without being seen all while having a seizure? I'm not trying to place blame on anyone or take blame from anyone. I'm just curious how this works. Thanks, man. Later, QD.Originally Posted by Elrichthain
Could she of possibly been dropped off and done it alone? done it before she was dropped off, and gone into seizures. it was said earlier that she was in the unfinished part, not in her room or finished part. If someone dropped her off and wanted it to seem unlikely they were involved, would think they would of put her in her room area? soooo many things could of happened, and hoping tests will tell time and everything to know more of the truth that is not able to be seen.
wow....thanks for clearing things up...
sorry this happened, but you are right the more people know the better.
Don't be sorry, like I said it's better people know at least what we know than to speculate and it turn into a disaster story. When she was brought home it was early in the morning, and it is not unlike Christi to go out and have someone bring her back. This was any of those other situations, and it was about 6:30 in the morning, to the best of my understanding.
As for the actual events that occurred...who knows. Who knows what is going through someone's mind, except fear. The person who dropped her off was definitely afraid, and probably thought that if he dropped her off then he won't get caught for providing, or accomplicing. Paranoia is a huge product of getting high, as I'm sure many in this room know. Maybe he thought that she would be fine and was just fucked up, so took her down to her room to rest it out. But of the pieces we have, she left her house, the car pulled up, stayed for a bit, then left, and then her mom heard banging and found Christi in the basement on the floor in a seizure.
wow, that sounds like a bad way to pass away, do they have any leads or did noone see the person(s) enter the house?
Like I said, who knows what actually happened? There is a police investigation. Other than information that I may not be able to disclose, due to the investigation, that leads to fault on the other party (I don't know legally what I can say about clues found), logically it goes to follow that it did not happen so. What I mean is that people know that the police are investigating on the possible manslaughter of Christi, and if the last person she was with was innocent, then he wouldn't be avoiding the situation and turn himself in to say what happened, right? At least, it's not helping his case by not doing so.Originally Posted by LiL Scrappy

wow!!!
Thank you so much for answering these, cant thank enough knowing what your family is going through trying to get your own answers and only hopes can show. My family is in the exact situation but only a few weeks into it still and have many questions, thats why mine are personal, seeing if both incidents can help bring out truths of the other. We are all here for you if you have any questions or need to vent.
Thank you.
