woah, there is not much I can say but my condolences go out to her friends and family. I never formly meet her but I did see her at a few local shows and she always had a big smile on her face, looking like she loved life.Im so sorry!

BEFORE THE RUMOR MILL STARTS THIS CAME FROM HER FATHER (THANX TRIPPER/JOHN):
Last Saturday morning Christi was found in the unfinished part of her mom's basement (close to her finished area where Christi's room was) by her mom and little brother Brent. She was basically unconscience but having a seizure. The paramedics came and took her to the hospital. She was being worked on the whole way there and while being rushed to the Emergency Room. Her heart was racing at 175 beats per minute and nothing they did would bring her heart rate down. When it finally subsided she was placed in a critical care area. Within a couple of days she had no brain activity except one minor flutter. Her father is Catholic and had the appropriate ceremony performed by a priest. Christi passed away Wednesday, October 5th at 5:24 p.m. Christi was an organ donor. Some of her organs were too damaged as was all of her tissue to donate. Life Link was able to use three of her organs to save three people's lives. Ron sent me the obituary that will run in tomorrows Atlanta Journal which I will attempt to attach. Services are Sunday. Ron welcomes everyone to come and attend. He made it quite clear that Christi loved all of her Middle Georgia friends.
Ron said Christi's favorite color was pink. He has asked that we all wear something pink to her services. He said no coat or ties just to think PINK. Christi will be laid to rest wearing a pink top and jeans. It appears a date rape drug called GHB as well as cocaine were in her system. Ron has given me permission to tell this. There is an investigation going on since a car with a loud muffler came and departed Christi's house moments before she was found.
I know everyone that can is going to attend this service. Let me know what you think and let's get together and go as a group if possible. I'll now attempt to post the obituary.

My prayers and condolences go out to her family and friends. I never knew her but had seen her alot at different shows...always happy when asked for a picture with her. Someone is responsible for this the facts just dont add up. How could someone do this to such an good person....
I hope her family is very strong and able to pull through this, not knowing who or what did it to my uncle is making everyone suffer more. I told a few of my family members about it, and they said "its happening too much too often now" I only hope her familys prayers and wishes are answered. Kills me to know someone even younger had to suffer from similar situation as mark did.

wow...when i read that it gave me chills. so unexpected and heartbreaking. i lost a close friend this year too...and i know it feels. i didnt really know her...i have only seen her,but she was a pretty gurl. and her and her family will be in my prayers.

Its just so weird, my boss and I were just talking about this date rape drug just the other night before I found out about all this. I really wanna know where her friends were. She was a dancer at The Cheetah III, correct? Or am I thinking about a different girl? We knew a lot of the same people if this is who I think it is. I'm sorry for her loss, however. Things like this are horrible.
The autopsy/investigation will be interesting to see if the cause of death was her fault or if it was manslaughter/murder (someone slipped her something or something illegal).
