HID lights?

Aftermarket HID's are banned... not OEM.

Factory HIDs on cars are not banned, They are in more cars today then 2 years ago, Its become a option available on many cars now.

After market HIDs are what they try and stop from being sold because the housings are not designed for HID's and they are to bright in non HID housings, but they are still sold everywhere, it wont ever stop people from buying after market kits

anyone on here ever gotten a ticket for aftermarkets??? or know of someone who has...i'm about to start looking for some but i don't want to waste my time if its just another reason for a cop to give me a hard time

I've heard of a couple peeps gettin tickets for them, and I was ridin w/ my homeboy who has an HID kit in his '96 Impala, people kept flashin thier high's at him to "turn it down" LOL stupid bitch yelled that out the window.

I'm actually thinkin of doin this in the '64 though. Any ideas where I could find a kit for cheap?

mine are aftermarket and I've never had a problem with police.. just people flashing their brights at me all the damn time

My guess would be , the Civic owner probably would have more trouble with this than a G35 owner. One is a luxury car and one isnt. Im kinda curious as to how the cop would know it wasnt OEM.
