Build a IA car?

Well I'm bored and I was reading some threads on CH and found this.

Everyone donates like $5, so we could buy a shell. ANY car. (Honda?) Since I know alot of people have parts for them. People could donate some parts or some money for the parts. Put the car in a garage or somewhere, we could work on it. Get it running, someone get it painted or help on the bodywork etc. Then we could keep it as a track car, drag car etc. Or sell the car and get the USER CP fixed .

Might be a stupid idea, I kinda like it lol. Anyone else up for it?

But on a serious note, you can pick up a good foxbody shell for around the same price as a good Honda sell. Gut it, good suspension, and a nice mild motor would make for a fun/quick ride.

Okay here are the plans if anyone really wants to do it.

1. Get a shell (Guy already offered to donate a DA Integra shell)

2. People donate ATLEAST $5 every month or whenever they can/want.

3. People donate parts for the car.

4. Leave the car @ a place where people can come and work on it and stuff.
(My backyard) lol

5. Step up like meetings (Ex. Saturday and sunday 12pm-6pm) and come and work on the car etc.
6. Admin or Julio would be the owner of the car since they are the main/owner on here. Co owner etc lol.

7. Make car drag car/track car or sell it and make some T shirts and give them to everyone that helped build it. and the rest of the cash goes towards IA.com

I say run it a season or so, then sell it and put the money into the site. This shit isn't cheap to run I'm sure. The only problem will be finding one setup everyone on the board will support as they will all have a part in it. Some will want a hardcore drag setup, while someone else may want a hardcore autocross car.

If this was to really happen, which I doubt it won't, it would have to be a drag/autocross/ semi show car kinda. Because, of course people would want it to look good..But them some would want different race setups. I just don't see this happening though.

I say a quick street car, that can handle. Something like a nicely done N/A GSR swapped hatch, with a good suspension setup. It wouldn't be amazing at anything, but could be good at dang near everything.
