I can agree with that......which leads me to my next question: WTF is a "clean" car? Why do people always post a beat up honda, acura, toyo, etc and people call it clean? Clean where, how, WTF?????
And to answer your OP, clean and simple is a combo of limited budget and taste. Ugly is ugly, no matter how you slice it.

IMO, "clean" denotes something worthy of a showroom floor. Straight body w/good paint, nice interior, clean wheels/etc and whatnot...
an S13 with mismatched wheels and unpainted bumpers (no matter how good the fitment is) is not clean IMHO.
no, just in general. evans at least has some taste (not my kind of taste) but it was nicely done, just like DO's. i mean just the flat black hoods, or shit, the flat black spray painted cars, some people go as far as doing the whole car.
