When it comes to chicks I've found they are ALL at least a little bit like this. Some to a greater degree, but it still always follows this basic pattern.

They display very little baggage at first. (Some don't, I just avoid them)
I remain wary.
They continue to be cool after the first month or so.
I start to like them.
They unleash the baggage.
I stop liking them.
They wonder why.
I replace them.
The next chick does the same thing.
I die cold and alone.
