i tell my Mother from time to time and my Grandmother when i havent spoken with her in a minute.

I've been telling some of my closest freinds i love them for quite some time as well. you just gotta let em' know some times.

thats funny Kev, my family is the exact same way, we have never had to tell each other we love them. Its just an understood thing. But my wife sounds like yours. She loves to say it, she always says it to the kids and always..I feel more strongly about it and only really say it when I feel I need to. Even to my kids. I do however say it to my daughter a little more than I usually do. Which is still like hardly...lol

We're South American, so the family values are STRONG (no cursing out parents or disobeying rules lol). The love is Strong as well but more of an implication, we just never made a big deal about saying "I love you" to one another.

On the other hand, my wife's family say it all the time but they say it SOOOO much that it seems routine. They definitely without a doubt love each other but they say it so often that it doesn't sound heartfelt.

I started telling my close friends the same too, not all that often but it's good to let them know I guess. Kinda say it in a joking around manner but you know, it be da way we be feelinz.

i know exactly what you are talkin about bro. me and my family usually to tell each other that we love each other as much as possible. i was kinda neglectful for a few years and then started realizing that they will always be there when need be, good or bad. so i just started hangin around and tellin em i love em so much more. i even do it with my friends too, not goin to lie. only the ones that i have known since i was lil kid tho you know, bods are there that cant be replace
