That's a pretty sensitive issue. I somewhat support the idea of creationism being taught. While I don't personally believe in it, as long as it doesn't get into specific religious ideologies it wouldn't make me mad. I mean you have to take into account that evolution is still a theory, and it's hard to say what should really be taught. As long as they keep the separation of church and state by not specifically teaching a certain religion it should be fine. The problem with it is that the teaching of creationism would most likely be used to specifically promote Christianity, and that's where the line is crossed. It would have to be regulated to such an extent that I don't think it would work.

Still hasn't necessarily been proven. I do agree with it, but it doesn't make sense to isolate creationism as false. The problem with teaching it is simply the way it would be taught, not the idea of it.

Correction, it hasn't been physically proven. As in witness first hand, we currently have enough data to support it though. And there should be no fear in the way it's taught, if taught correctly. Get rid of the teachers who can't and bring in the people who actually know what they're teaching. Simple solution really.
