If they are dangerous, call it in, and hope that the cops catch them in the act. Let the law officers do their job. They have to have an incident or catch them in the act.

If they are past you they are not putting you at risk, so there is no reason for you to break the law to "try to put some sense in them". They do need to know they are stupid and it's not cool, but it isn't your place to enforce the laws the last time I checked.

If you shot them, you would be breaking the law and commiting murder. The last time I checked, speeding and racing are traffic violations, and are not felonies, but murder is a felony. If it was an old guy in a old Vette running 100mph in the HOV lane, would it have been called in, and posted on this site? I bet it wouldn't.

What reason do you have to believe that those guys are on this site? Do you personally know them? Is every idiot with a Civic on IA? Basically, this a rant that serves no usefulness - except to more firmly cement the perception that all idiots in Civics are on this site. I basically just said that he did a good thing by calling the cops as far as him posting the plates I don't agree w/ that, Nor the brake checking even though some people deserve it every once in a while. I also stated that if someone in my family was killed by one of these RICERS that i would have problems w/ them just as I would w/ anyone who caused and accident that killed a family member by racing down the interstate. I shoot below the waist so that it is only attempted murder. I don't care if your are 16 -90 years old and are driving a pinto or a lambo I will call the cops and get you off the road if you are doing some dumba$$ sh!t on any public road that would cause harm to anyone. People cut you off - lock up their brakes, speed and almost hit you everyday in this town - it's a part of driving. While contests of performance is NOT, or SHOULD not be a part of everyday driving - as citizens, our duty rests w/ calling the people that get paid to deal w/ these things (enforcement) - which was done. Also our duty is informing every1 that drives on public roads how to use their cars safety features, as well as what to do when aggressive drivers are spotted. I'd take it a step further and inform my family/friends what to do and what not to do as well.

There is NOTHING wrong w/ anything that Rut has said - I just don't agree w/ posting their plates on this forum - it adds NOTHING favorable to his already well-written post. It will also take nothing away from his VERY valid point to remove the plates. That is ALL I am saying. Furthermore, I would like him to answer the question if EVER in his life on the planet has he engaged in testing his vehicles performance on public roads.
