Who is the actual owner of this shop?
She keeps saying take it up with the painter, is this a partnership or is only one of them the actual owner. If your painter is not a partner in the business, then he should have absolutely no say in the matter. His job is to prep and paint, not argue with customers.
With this being a new shop, there should have been a lot more pride taken into the work done to the red mustang. Not only for the sake of satisfying a customer, but help build a solid reputation as a competent place to do business.
Just remember that a happy customer will tell all his friends. An unhappy customer will tell everyone.
