alright, heres the deal

i frequent a restraunt quite often, and i got the same waitress every single time for almost a year

so we start talking and what not.. shes a car nut, into old school v-dubs, now she has a 350z yadda yadda

anyways, so we start hanging out and what not (as just friends, she had a bf at the time) but now she has changed jobs and is now an exotic dancer at a buckhead club

let me add to that by saying that this girl is absolutely gorgeous, down to earth, level headed and is doing it to get through school

she likes me, i like her.... but im just not sure if i can get used to the whole exotic dancer thing... i mean, not the jealousy thing... because i could sit there and go.. yea, thats mine... its just her line of work?!? maybe im just flipping out

plus she wants me to come down and see her... now dont get me wrong. im all for some T&A but when we are slowly becoming more than friends.. i dont really wanna walk in and see her ass naked on a pole. it would be a little bit more than ankward to me.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm in the same situation as you are at the moment. I know that outside it's fine but once she's at work you can't help but to feel weird. Awkward is right, especially around friends who might ask you where your girlfriend works. Don't get me wrong, I have strong feelings for her too, but I wouldn't take this situation too serious if I were you, at the end, It's not worth it.

Oh, and my situation has some differences, my girlfriend is a waitress. Not as bad as a dancer, but I can still relate to you and your feelings. If you really like this chick, which it sounds like you do, just suck it up and explain to her how you feel about the whole thing. If she has no other choice but to work there then I wouldn't. But if she does, I would tell her to look work else where because you know she's better than that.

You're asking for advice, yet you seem to have already know everything there to know about this kind of situation. The funny thing is, my girlfriend is saving up money so she could return to Texas and get back to school. So we're pretty much in the same boat, to a certian extent.
