That's been my exact experience with mine. I bought for giggles and that's all. It seems to shoot straight enough for what it is and no major feed issues like their pistols.

A Carbine is simply a short barrelled rifle. Most use pistol rounds, but there are some carbines out there, like the M1, that shoot an actual rifle round (although it's necked down version). Originally they were designed for the cavalry division of the armed forces so they could carry a "rifle" that wouldn't get in the way while on horse back.
