Why should it not be? America has always been slated as the land of the free and home of democratic theories! At what level should religion be forced upon citizens who may or may not practice religion? Which religion is proper for the government to endorse and practice? I think many of the "moral guidelines" set by many religions are a good indicator of Good vs. Bad, but to have a system based on LAW and ORDER but then ask citizens to follow a theoretical system with no factual basis is absurd.
