I was the one that brought it up in the mods forum. I didn't think it was appropriate for you to use the N word. I don't think it's funny, cool, or acceptable. I know that everyone at some point and time has heard jokes that included that word and found them funny. I have myself. But to call people that directly is in MY opinion unacceptable. You want to TRY and be funny by using that word, cool. Your perrogative totally. It is also MY perrogative to not like it and take action accordingly. I brought it up to all the other mods attention when I saw it, I asked what they thought of it, and it was unanimously agreed that you should get a time out for it. Matter of fact, even though I brought it up.....I didn't ban you either.
Bottomline is that if you or anyone else sees something that they deem offensive, there is a little icon on the post itself you can hit which will forward a link to all the mods in order to correct the problem. You keep complaining about some offensive posts, yet I've never ONCE gotten a notice of any posts YOU find offensive. So the only person to blame on that is YOU.
People make what THEY think are "jokes" on IA everyday that have either direct or indirect racial remarks. How many times do people not use "beaner", "chink", and now the N word???? Is it funny? Dunno. But there will always be a limit to what you can do on IA and there will always be someone somewhere that cries about that. This is one of those cases IMO.
You got banned and to be honest.....I agree with the ban. You like to say things to get a rise out of people for some reason I can't see. So now, just suck it up and live by the same sword you like to wield around.

See the bottomline is, the owner said anything goes and you can't get banned for anything being said. So I find it BS that I didn't do anything, and many others have done worse.

It takes about .00002 secs to hit that little icon at the top right hand corner that clearly says "report this post". We will be happy to take care of it the same way we did with you if they are being a douche just like you.

#1 We dont think it's a democracy at all, we saw the post julio made saying anything goes, and then when anything is posted, we 're banned. So we're just wondering when/why the rules changed and no one told us. You wanna make it nothing goes, that's your perogative, but just let us know so we dont piss off the wrong people.

As far as the bashing "higher-ups" that doesn't really go well here either, lolol. But most higher ups on other sites have a huge stick in their ass and a chip on their shoulder. Mods don't see every single post. It's impossible. So that's why there's a "report this post" link. Next time you or him or anyone else sees something they find offensive, then report it. Julio made the WL a free for all in order to keep things lively and light and not so super serious. He didn't make it to be a haven for people to express their messed up views at someone else's expense.
