If I were to ever consider a Subie, it'd be an older 2.5RS Coupe. The new one is "okay" at best. Too much taken from the Mazdaspeed 3 but the MS3 just looks more solid in terms of appearance. Also, $35K+ for a WRX is just plain dumb.
