    Default ticket in cobb county

I got a 17 over ticket (really 20 over but the cop was cool i guess)... I want to somehow without hiring a lawyer to get it dropped down to 14 over so it doesn't go on my driving record and increase my insurance. Has anybody ever had luck doing this on your own?

I had a 26 over dropped to 23 over in gwinnett. Your only real hope for it without a lawyer is to go to court and speak with the DA before you see the judge. If you have an otherwise clean record (like I did) they will probably drop it for you.

Maybe go visit the officer one day and talk to him and see if he can help you out... just tell him that you wouldnt like it to go against ur insurance which it wont even really effect you....

Dude your fine, go take a DD class and then go to the day of the court date, and talk with the solicitor, tell them that your record is clean for the last 4 years, and you dont want this one to affect your insurance, and they will probably drop it to 14, if not drop it at all. just depends of the mood of the solicitor!

take the defensive driving course before you go to court and also ask the solicitor to see if he can reduce it and also show the certificate from defensive driving that will be a big help. will probably have to pay the full price but the speed should be reduced.

    I have a 35 Over speeding ticket. 100 in a 65.
Do you see me crying about it?
