wich store you worked at and when?
i worked at the one off pleasant hill and cruse rd. it was a while back maybe 5 years ago. at the time they paid me 9.00 and hour and gas prices were really low like 89-99cents a gallon.it was crazy busy and very difficult to stay focused, that type of job is alot harder than most people think.it drains you mentally, well me anyway.Originally Posted by Julio

Yeah man, retail is not for everyone, I really enjoy it though fast pace.. you have to be on your P's and Q's at all times and When I leave the store I dont have to worry about shit, I try to develop my employees to handle everything or any situation that comes up.
Also the pay is tight atleast at my level.
I know Clerk pay is nothing to brag about but it competetive for that market.
it was hard at first i was use to small gas staions i worked at in florida,so i figured racetrac would be the same, man i was wrong it took some time to keep up with the other guys working there.i dont think people give gas station clerks enough credit its not as easy as they might think to do that kind of work.Originally Posted by Julio
