Just out of curiosity, why would you swap a 2V in instead of a 4V or even a larger pushrod engine?

Oh, OP (I've been wanting to say this for a while), Silly ricer, torque is for men!

I've never priced 2V engines, but would a 306 not be cheaper and have more potential?

ya i drove my buddy's G35 around xmas time and it felt like a torqueless monster lol, but i love how they feel.

why not get an LT1 camaro and turbo it or something?

LT1s are cheap and so are the kits for it

Ive been looking at them, but I used to have a 5.0 and only had it for 4 months. I still havent gotten the mustang out of my system and I dont think I would be completely happy with an F-body....especially the interior.

I think he meant in terms of a comparison. The Z/G35 is probably the closest thing to a Japanese Muscle car there is right now. Good power and torque, RWD, ect...

I had a Mustang before my WRX, and I wouldn't be surprised if my next car is European (BMW or Audi). I don't discriminate. I just like fun cars

thats what the last owner had swapped in...its about as much potentional if not more for a 2v over a 302! then if you compare a 2v to the 4v s/c your talking about a 5-6k difference in price! and thats just for the engine!

Yeah I'm on this site and I don't own a import, only 2 domestics (Fieros). I mostly just come here for the meets and some entertainment from WL.

im sitting on the fence. i finally have some money now, so it's either hook up the jetta or get an f-body. im having trouble deciding. the jetta has a lot of potential boosted, can look clean as ****, and has some luxury. an f-body is just ****ing raw. i just have so much sh!t to do right now i don't feel like going through the hassle of selling my car and then waiting around a while to find the right car, but i've wanted a WS6 since i can remember. idk

I remember seeing a nice ass WS6 a long time ago when I was in high school (wayyyy back when) and I loved it. Still to this day they look modern for the times.

Guess that means that Julio was locked into owning and import - even if 98% of it was assembled in Tennessee.
