    That doesn't mean switch to domestics though; other cars do come with higher displacement engines rather than america cars.

    i understand that but i think that it symbolizes import vs domestic more IMO

    exactly...plus...i am going to be picking up a 95 mustang cobra clone, with a swapped over 2v in teh next week or so!

    Just out of curiosity, why would you swap a 2V in instead of a 4V or even a larger pushrod engine?

    I've never priced 2V engines, but would a 306 not be cheaper and have more potential?
