s13, since this is your topic, I'll use you as an example. You say you saw gas at .79/gallon. You were born in 1988. Gas averaged $1.08 by then. I know that not every gas station sold at that cost countrywide, but the average fluctuations will not very +/- .30/gallon. A .79/gallon gas price hadn't been seen in 10 years before you were born.
