thats dumb to say, NOone has the right to tell anyone not to be offended by anything. One thing might not offend u but it might offend someone else. Everyone has something that can be said to them that will just push their buttons. We all do its human nature. noone has the right to tell anyone what and what not to be offended by.

U got 3 folks white dude - black dude - asian dude

some random guy comes up and starts spitting insults about asians to all 3 of u alls face. it wont bother the black dude or the white dude. It would bother the asian tho.. the black and white dudes have no place to tell the asian dude.."u shouldnt be offended its not that serious". thats basic principle and respect for other people. If someone told me that something made them upset or shit...i may not understand but thats how they feel thats how they feel.

freedom of speech is alive and well, but u still have to deal with the results of your words. jesse jackson/al sharpton have dealt with their mouths the same way as imus is. sharpton/jackson may be ont he news and at conferences...but their credibility and intentions are always questioned and they will always be thought of as big mouth hipocrits because of their past, and form the shti they have say. Just like Imus hes not being put in jail hes not being fined.. hes being fired from a major station. Now if he was facing jailtime than the freedom of speech card can be thrown. But eveyrone has the freedom to say what they want.. but they need to be prepared to face the results of what they say.
