Even though we never met, I am sorry for your loss. She sounded like a real nice person, a real shame we never met. Think about how she lived and how she touched and made a lot of people happy. RIP.

Val was the funniest chick on here... I met her a few times, talked for a bit, saw her at Import Showdown she was doing what she loved. We always bullshitted on AIM from time to time. That is a terrible thing to happen to anyone. I guess what ever happens, happens... can't go back in time and bring her back but damn she was a great person

valerie told me about val tonight at starbucks. itll be wierd not seein her every night grading papers...and givin me and alan hell about our "less than 200 hp cars" lol. we knew we could never match up to "Ms. Stand Alone" lol. the few months i knew her left great memories. she and her family will be in my prayers.

Guys, let's keep the accident details to yourselves. I know there have been different stories floating around and if Tray decides he wants to come out and tell us what happened, let him do so. This one time she had methanol on her porch for her car, and the apartment lady came by and was like "You can't have gasoline on your porch!" and Val was like "it isn't gasoline, it is methanol." Then she spouted out the chemical formula or whatever with all the elements for methanol and then what it was for gasoline explaining what it was.

The apartment lady was so confused. I think she ended up letting her keep it there.

RIP Val. This whole thing is a shock to me as well, and even after a few days it still doesnt seem that it has really happened. I know you are in a better place now. You are actually the one person that has made me want to become a better driver at the track, so you could stop making fun of my poor launching skills

I wish you were still here so that I could have gotten to know you better. This entire incident I can say has changed my perception and outlook on a lot of things. Its hard to understand but a lot of things happen for a reason and a lot of times we cant percieve them because we are so hurt. My thoughts and prayers are with you Tray and your whole family.

Wow, i'm shocked... i only met val once.... she picked me out while i was walking into starbucks... she recognized my car, and my dog from me posting a thread when i first got him.....

she even gave him a "new" name... Stanley T. Bouregart(spl)... hung out with her the rest the time i was there..... REAL COOL CHIC!!!!

I saw her on Saturday afternoon she came up to AutoIndulgence to get the Evo washed...It still feels like I am just walking around in a fog and I am just going to magically wake up and she will still be here.

She went to the Mitsu dealership where he worked & ALWAYS stayed to shoot the shit with the fellas. He was upset when I told him & couldn't believe it. She was a sweet person & will be missed. Our thoughts are with her family & Trey.

Just wanted to post a picture of the infamous couples at TopSpeed before we opened......I loved Val so much, this is really, really hard. We had told each other that we were best friends - something very hard for me to do since I lost another best friend that was murdered three years ago. It is so hard to find people that you connect with like we did..... She loved little Chandler so much - it is so hard to look at her and think of all the cool things that Val is going to miss.

However, I feel so freaking lucky to have been able to be such good friends with such an amazing person.

I did meet Val @ battleground when she had the Supra. She was a cool girl that knew alot about cars and I was impressed that she had a Supra, because I haven't met any girl that had one before. She will be missed, and prayers go out to Trey and family.
