LOL. You can go to the shop and hang out with Dan. He's fun to hang out withOriginally Posted by HalfBaked
Since ya'll aren't taking any more new customers, does that mean I can still get tuned once I get the sentra running and broken in?
Also, would you want mroe chinchillas and bigger cage? I know someone who needs to get rid of 2.
No more chinchillas.Originally Posted by HalfBaked
Once we get used to our schedule, he will take new customers...but it will be choice jobs. Mostly tuning and in-n-out jobs. Things that won't have to sit at the shop. So you will be able to get tuned.
Good for you girl! Seriously, I'm proud of you. I need to come watch you drift one day.Originally Posted by tracy

Mark,
Not really yet, I guess. I have been trying to get us jobs of some sort in Cali. Just started that. It's just to see if I can make it happen. It prolly won't work out, but you never know I just like to mess around to see what happens. That's how drift fury started.

and the 2 page waiting list doesn't hurt either

So hire more techs, if you guys are as good as you say you are then hire someone to run the shop, and get a bigger shop. Or open another shop. You have a two page waiting list, but you are not taking new clients. I would not want people waiting and going to another shop. From what I hear you do good work, but you are not the only ones. If you owned a restaurant and had people out the door every night, would't you just make it bigger or open one up across town?Originally Posted by tracy

I never met you, but I have always heard that you were a bitch. But I feel sorry for you, I would think your bf would marry you or atleast make you co owner since you have helped out so much and it seems that you do love him. Sounds like you need to move on to something better if he can't take it to the next level. Sorry to get into your business, but I honestly feel bad for youOriginally Posted by tracy

edit: along with what tiger said.. being with dan and BG as long as you have i would imagine either you 2 married by now or dan cutting you in on the buisness. i can see why you would move on in the situation you are now... honsetly i would have bailed along time ago...
ps. can 1 still get my 3 dyno pulls though right.. if my car ever runs

There aren't any good techs. We have hired many and still have the same one that started with the shop. You can't just trust anyone to hire and work on cars and be at your shop when you aren't around.Originally Posted by koukis14
It's not even like that anyways. The race schedule is tough this season. We are paid drivers....none of us need to need to be at the shop, per say. I'm just being a snotty girl right now. That's the real deal. I'm trying to be stubborn and prove a point like women do and you are calling me out on some shit and making me spill my beans GAWD. I made a mistake by posting this....but whatcha gonna do now
I think it's funny how people are giving her sympathy....she milked dan for all she could, and made enemies for dan when he didnt even know them because she'd open her snaggle tooth mouth. Dan is a good guy, and Tracy held him back, so maybe now he can move on to bigger and better things and maybe Tracy can find a sucker who will give her lots of money to live the baller lifestyle she wants.
i'll give tracy money as long as she earns it

There are good techs out there...hell I am one. You just have to find them. The problem with a tech working in an after market shop like yours is that someone with talent and skill will want good pay, benefits, and job security. If the economy ever crashes businesses like yours have a hard time getting by. Also "sports" like drifting, monster truck racing, drag racing are all but over.Originally Posted by tracy
If the economy goes to hell people will spend money on keeping cars on the road. There is a good base for business, then add on tuning and aftermarket modding. Hell give your work a limited warranty and people will come from around the country to have you make thier cars fast. Believe me I have been in the car business for a while and always wanted to open a tune shop. I have been researching it for years.
You guys have a business which is good, but not being able to find good techs around here I can not believe. You need to buy good help, we don't spend as much money as we do on training and tools to get paid 16 bucks an hour.
