This weekend could be fun.

No, not going to kill anyone. They're blanks. It's just a training mission. They're for an M16A2 that we carry into the woods. We "protect" an area and carry out missions against "terrorists" and invade towns, and stop convoys.

Only thing that sucks is it's expected to rain...

I know, I know...blanks FTL, but if we actually kill off our own people with real rounds...it kinda defeats the purpose of training more people...LoL

Yeah, it's fun to fire but it's a b*tch to clean when you're done. We played with the M240 Bravo quite a bit, but the f*cker would jam constantly because dumb@sses wouldn't clean it properly.

My bad, yeah the M240. I don't have to play with it, so I'm happy. I know the M16 VERY well. We've become quite acquainted. I love that rifle. Consistently accurate, not too hard to clean...

We spend about 3 hours after the FTX cleaning.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Glad to hear you're enjoying the exercises though. I bet you'll be a pretty cool officer once you're in. My CO at Ft.Benning was fun as Hell to hang out with. After I got injured, he kept an eye for me and we spent a lot of time just bullsh*tting.

I have access to right now to M2 .50 cals, a MK-19(Automatic 40mm Grenade Launcher), 6 249's, I have an M-4 right here by my side(w/7 mags), and I am in ACU's. I am MI, too, LOL. Step your game up, LOL. AIRBORNE!!!!

Wurd you didnt get to shoot the 249 during frog week? Our frog week did, and we got to tear through the mountains in black hawks. That was where it was at! Fucking 100+ mph like 35 feet above the trees. Way fun!

um, the m16a1 was adopted by everyone in 1967.

everyone now uses some sort m16a2 variant.

i got to shoot an ar10 today. im thinkin about ditchin the FAL and gettin one of those.

yea but the SCAR is the future,its all ready and being set up to go its a modular rifle,so it can be a LMG,SMG,AR,or sniper rifle just by changing barrels,scopes, and Mags

We got the choppers, but they gave us Huey's instead. Originally they weren'te ven gonna give us a ride because of gas prices and such, but the alumni association was liek "no, that's tradition. We'll pay for the gas."

Yeah, I may stay if that's the case. I like the school, but I'm sick of the corps, and I've only been in it one year. I'm looking for an apartment or house locally to live in/at. Otherwise, I may try to transfer to KSU next spring.
