He was 19 by the time Jim Crow was gone, but , his life experience cant be provided in a contextual incident? Who said he was saying this is indicative of the entire era? I dont know how you are making the leap from his personal experience to him making sweeping generalizations about an entire 90+ years.

Do you have some kind of secret means of time travel, did you go back to the days of Phil working the fields WITH the blacks and see treatment or hear opinions from said black folks contrary to what Phil stated?

I think you're just arguing to argue at this point, since you're not making a point. Such a contract probably wouldn't be publicly available, and rightfully so.

I'll just believe what every other contract attorney says about the contract, and you and the rest of the 1.7 million can believe there's a chance, however small, that the Robertson's have a unique contract that allows them to own A&E's intellectual property, that allows them to terminate said contract at will, at the same time, allows A&E to suspend them, and that A&E's team of attorneys are stupid enough to let that happen. LOL

Now A&E just wants to show force by making the DD family abide to Contracts and continue the show. They are acting as if they have the upper hand but I always was told you can buy out of a Contract. what don't you understand about this? In some form or another DD was going to win. They had ratings on their side.

Now they could have become Fowl Empire on some other network since ae owns the name, but AE had no cards to play.

Those contracts obviously didn't give much leverage to AE, or they wouldn't have caved.
