How is one's personal opinion about a subject to be considered inaccurate? Can you please quote him where his opinion was inaccurate?
You also say that his comments were disparaging and anecdotal; again, his personal opinion was given on a question the interviewer asked...how is that degrading? Also, your use of anecdotal is incorrect...he was asked for his opinion/thoughts on the matters...

He was 19 by the time Jim Crow was gone, but , his life experience cant be provided in a contextual incident? Who said he was saying this is indicative of the entire era? I dont know how you are making the leap from his personal experience to him making sweeping generalizations about an entire 90+ years.

I know what anecdotal means, he was asked for his opinion and for his personal experience...how then can it be incorrect? Do you have some kind of secret means of time travel, did you go back to the days of Phil working the fields WITH the blacks and see treatment or hear opinions from said black folks contrary to what Phil stated?

You stated that he was grossly inaccurate...seeing how you were not there to experience it first hand nor do you know anyone present to see how his co-workers in the fields were treated...how can you say he was inaccurate?
