Why would this be a problem anyways? The Muslim brotherhood is just spreading the peace of Islam right? Wouldnt you view it as a positive thing if he was????

The Muslim Brotherhood has a history of violence in some cases.

    LOL RIIIGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.......... ...............................

I support Romney more now than i did before the election. Most people voted for Romney because he wasnt Obama, now in hindsight, Romney actually knew what was going on. We've already covered this topic..... every lie the president tried to paint Romney with, turns out Romney was right.

Can you help me understand why our government runs guns to drug lords, foreign dictators and terrorists groups?

Can you help me understand why the NSA spies on everyone in the US but not mosques?

Can you help me understand why we should pass bills to find out what is in them?

I see no reason why the US can't drop some bombs on key targets in Syria. I just don't want any weapons handed to what could be Al-qaeda fighters nor want American boots on Syrian soil.

If Obama goes without the consent of the UN and unilaterally drops bombs on a country that poses no imminent threat to the US, he will have violated international law and could "technically" be brought up on war crimes. Not that it would happen. Our government can call it whatever it wants, but dropping bombs in another country is an act of war. As far as giving weapons to Al-qaeda it's too late for that...

Ambassador Stevens was running guns to them a year ago before the deal went south.

Just to be fair, we aren't giving weapons to Al-qaeda. Some of them may have relations with Al-qaeda and some may be 100% Al-qaeda but we didn't call up the chief Al-qaeda home boy and say "Ay y0 got some weapons comin y0 way."

Yes, we're giving weapons to Alqaeda. The US government does not discriminate in who they arm, unless it's their own citizens.

There's really not an answer to your original question that isn't a belief. There are reasons why we should, and there are reasons why we shouldn't.

No, I'm disputing the comments that were literally arming terrorist organizations, as I said, some weapons will get in the wrong hands but we aren't just arming terrorist as many love to say.

Don't take this as I support any of it because I think it's a joke.

I got you, but dont you feel at least a little bit foolish when you say that? Our government, the most advanced country on the planet..... that devotes 100s of billions of dollars to intelligence....... is "accidentally" letting weapons slip into the hands of terrorists.

If theyre not evil, theyre ignorant. Either way, it's a bad scenario. My own opinion is that we need to quit giving the government the benefit of the doubt for the "mistakes" they make.

To see Obama this weak is just devastating to the presidency. He has no idea what he is doing. Hes trying to win political points because thats all he knows how to do. He has no idea how to run foreign policy.

IMO, the people are getting it right, we should stay out of it, let them gas each other and have their civil war. If it spills across borders, let me know, until then, not our problem or fight. Our military is not designed to carry out half assed attacks, we either put troops on the ground and WIN, or we sit on the sidelines. Thats the only 2 options otherwise you get Vietnam/Iraq War.

Obama has never been serious about rooting out Terrorism and Islamic Extremists, so hes boxed himself into a corner now because he has to look like he cares when he really doesnt.

Rooting out islamic extremists??? obama would argue that they dont exist.

“Islam has always been part of America”

“we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

“These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

“America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

“So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

“Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”

“As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.”

”I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

“That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

“I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

Again i go back to the root of the problem , that Radical Islamic Terrorism is much larger in the religion than it gets credit for. The "normal" muslims are not doing enough to root out the "radical" muslims.

We have radical Christians, but they dont dominate the general christian theology and members

The problem is that the "normal muslims" are the ones not following the Koran and the "islamic extremists" are the ones that are following the Koran.

What can normal muslims do to root out the radicals outside of not being muslims at all?

Maybe they have some ICBM's located there that we don't know about hmmmm
Uhhh... Russia has their largest, and only warm water port located in Syria. No need for ICBM's... If not for Syria, Russia's navy would be ice-locked for months per year. Add in the oil that leaves Syria's shores and Russia would be stupid not to defend their ally.

BTW: I seriously doubt Russia is "shaking at the knees" right now. The world is on their side due to our leader not having a clear direction and a obvious lack of spine.

I agree, but for a slightly different reason. The world sees Obama's lack of a spine as a clear indication that Obamas words mean nothing. He says a lot of things, follows through on nothing. The world still fears Russia and while they are growing their power again, they see the US declining in power economicly, militarily, and diplomaticly.

I dont understand the criticism that Obama lacks spine. I dont see him as someone who doesnt stand up for anything, i see him as someone who stands up for the wrong things. I wish Obama had a lack of spine.

What would be the "back boned" response to Syria? It's an honest question, i sincerely dont get it.
