    i think most companies of 20+ employees always has dead weight that can be cut...

    This is a good thread but I would add what has happen to you or fellow friends in the workplace.

    I think I would want a pay decrease, instead of a layoff.
    But in our warehouse our staff has been literally cut in half. Same as our sales too. Our company froze all matching 401k Contributions and will be
    cutting back our health insurance even more.
    My brother who works in a tile warehouse his pay was cut from $16 to $13 dollars and plus a handful of people layed off.
